Cultivate is Ardent Mill’s 15-month Operations Development Program, structured and designed to provide team members with a foundational understanding of how to live Ardent Mills' vision and values while gaining hands-on experience in the industry, both with processes and people.
Milling Development Associates will participate in a wide range of experiences, such as:

Hands-on experience with all departments and team members
-
Tailored curriculum with Technical Milling Team to learn more about core equipment and processes

Mill management under the guidance of an experienced Head Miller
-
Local and organization-wide project work
-
Monitoring key performance indicators within the milling departments
-
Potential short-term assignments at other facilities

As a Milling Development Associate, you will have opportunities to relocate to other Ardent Mills facilities within the US as you gain skills and experiences throughout the program. The Development Associate role is not permanent but meant to be a steppingstone for development that will lead to a progressively challenging permanent role within the organization, often at a different location. As a part of this leadership role at Ardent Mills, you will be required to work alongside your team members, which may include long days, rotating shifts (days, evenings, and nights) as well as weekend or holiday work. Essential skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Milling Science, Ag Studies, Business, Operations, Food Science, Engineering, Mechanized Systems or related studies, or equivalent work experience

Demonstrated initiative, self-starter

Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written

Demonstrated ability to work across functions and collaboration

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Other considerations:

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Willing to relocate as promotional opportunities exist throughout career

Must be authorized to work in the Unites states without sponsorship now and in the future
