What You’ll Do
Access Center Specialists will:
  • Coordinate the screening and admission of clients to the appropriate Oaklawn program(s), helping with appropriate community referrals when needed.
  • Act as the initial contact for many clients seeking services at the Access Center by person and occasionally by phone.
  • Complete intake paperwork and orients clients to Oaklawn services and the intake process.

The Access Center Specialist has daily contact with clients and families as well as professionals and referral agencies. The specialist gathers information and communicates it to the appropriate clinician or department assisting in client access to services within our Open Access Clinics.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field preferred.
  • One year experience preferred in a mental health, social services or other healthcare or related setting.
