Position Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our accounts. Taking care of our customers requires constant fast action, project management, customer service, innovation, initiative, and relationship building. To be successful, one must be able to maintain and build our current customer sales while helping them with new and innovative ways to build their business. The focus and mission of the Account Manager is to add value to our customers by drawing from one’s industry experience, introducing new products, and providing consulting services that result in increased efficiencies and improved financials for our customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain relationships with customers through regular communication.
  • Take proactive steps to better understand customer’s business needs in order to help them grow their business.
  • Act as a liaison for customers with internal departments as well as external vendors in order to accomplish business building projects and/or resolve any customer frustrations.
  • Seek out opportunities for further self-education and training to stay relevant with industry trends in order to serve customers as a coffee industry expert.
  • Maintain a system of personal organization in order to accomplish the job functions listed above while at the same time create enough space to respond to the unexpected needs of our customers.
  • Attends and exhibits at industry tradeshows in addition to attending barista competitions and throw down events as determined by management.


Skills Requirements and Physical Demands

Robust specialty coffee background and extensive café management experience is required. Knowledge of food service and related business is preferred. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to upper management and a proven ability to manage high volume accounts. Must be an independent thinker that possesses strong teamwork and organizational skills, as well as strong planning and problem-solving skills. Must have a valid WA State Driver’s License and dependable insured vehicle.
