We’re looking to hire a dedicated Account Manager to build and maintain relationships with our companies on the platform. You'll work closely with our business team to drive customer engagement and retention.

We challenge our AMs to think critically about our target market, our solution, and our customers. This is a US-based position and may be located in NYC or remote.

Responsibilities:


  • Build long-term relationships with our customers by understanding their strategy and goals.

  • Develop account plans and strategies to retain and increase revenue and market share within existing accounts.

  • Manage contract renewal conversations for your book of business.

  • Partner with our Customer Success team to solve your customers' complex needs and support their growth

  • Work closely with multiple internal functions to improve our product and service.

  • Keep detailed and organized notes to be shared with the rest of the business team to maintain an efficient sales and post-sales process.


Requirements:


  • 4+ years of account management experience for a technology company

  • Experience at a startup or in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

  • Strong technical aptitude so you can master our products, easily understand our customers’ businesses, and articulate our value to founders, executives, hiring managers, and internal recruiters.

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, and eager to learn.

  • Strong writing skills.


Nice to haves:


  • Your average ACV is $20k+.

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles >60 days.

  • Experience selling to VP and C level execs at software companies with 100+ employees.

  • Experience selling (or buying) HR technology.

  • Experience recruiting or interviewing.

  • An understanding of computer science.

  • Familiarity with SQL.
