Accepting applications for a Sales and Account Manager for an Oil & Gas Service Company supplying services to Oil and Gas Producers in the area.
Must live in the Hobbs, NM area
- 3 -5 + years in the Oil & Gas contractor sales industry; contact leads are a plus.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Oilfield sales experience including cold-calling and account management experience, preferably with regional contacts.
- Some oilfield operational experience.
- Experience in managing personnel.
- Environmental and Safety experience.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Leadership in working with others and must be a team player.
- Proficient in planning & scheduling.
Must be able to pass physical and background check.

The account manager job includes the following: *
- Identifying new sales leads.
- Pitching products and/or services.
- Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
- Take ownership of job and responsibilities.
- Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Work with our marketing manager.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Learning the Crosby CRM dashboard and keeping it updated.
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
- Work with General manager and corporate office in developing quotes and proposals.
- Develop growth goals for you and the company. Company will help you accomplish your goals.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
- Work at keeping your customers happy.
- Work closely with Crosby Safety team.
- Work to keep a healthy relationship with clients, this mostly requires socialization. (chats on the phones, conference calls to lunches.
- Documentation is also a big part of your work.
- Have a network of connections to the industry. (social media)
- Socially adept
- Good with numbers.
- Communicate and Work with a team of account managers and operation staff. Learn the Crosby operating process and look for ways to improve it.
