Job Description:
This position safeguards Intermountain Healthcare's assets through monthly accounting operations and internal controls, and ensures accurate and compliant financial reporting. Initial duties are performed under close supervision; thereafter, routine tasks are completed with general review. Non-routine tasks are closely supervised.This is a 100% remote position however, currently we are unable to consider candidates for remote opportunities in the following states: California, Hawaii, Rhode Island and Washington.
- Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, including as balance sheets, income statement and according to the monthly close schedule.
- Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Provides financial support for forecasting, and analyzing variations from budget.
- Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Healthcare, and abides by service behavior standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- One (1) year accounting experience is required
