Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.
Position Summary:

  • Receive A/P invoices, review invoice, determine RU/Acct # distribution and get proper approval on invoice
  • Timely entry of A/P invoices into the Accufund (ERP) system. Accuracy is required.
  • Prepare rep payee activity weekly or special requests for payment for MH and IDD accounts.
  • Prepare A/P invoices for payment on the proper due date. Controller or Sr Accountant to print checks.
  • Receive and collect credit card receipts and enter G/L codes in spreadsheet for upload into ERP system.
  • Timely filing copies of A/P check with invoice(s) by FY.
  • Receive, copy, scan & label file associated with revenue checks from MCO’s and State payments. Distribute originals to proper teammate(s)
  • Assist in reconciliation of G/L Assets or Liability accounts in a timely manner
  • Print and mail client’s A/R statements and follow up with programs on collection activity
  • Assist with collection of documents for the Annual Financial Audit
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:

Associate degree or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Current driver’s license and a vehicle for use at work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *

Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff and healthcare providers

  • Basic computer and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
