Accounting Clerk III Job at Valeo Behavioral Health Care
Responsibilities
This position exists to expedite monthly billing procedures implementation affecting the AAPS contract along with other billing related to the VRC/Stones programs. This position also provides support to 330 Alcohol and Drug staff.
Job Requirements
Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent required. Requires at least three years experience of health care billing and versed in insurance medical terminology. Appropriate medical office education can be substituted for experience. Must be proficient with data entry and personal computer as well as experienced in Word and Excel. Requires minimal travel between Valeo sites. This person must be pleasant, energetic, have an analytical mind, organized, a ‘self-starter’, motivated to continually upgrade computer knowledge and skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintain flexibility in department processes, and the ability to work with staff and consumers in a friendly and supportive manner. Job requires sitting and data entry 90% of the day and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs if needed.
Salary Range
$14.92 – $17.89 – $20.93
Hours
Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week
