Position Summary

Manages and coordinates activities and operations of accounting department.

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: $ 60,000 to $90,000 a year. Exact compensation may vary based on experience, skills, knowledge, and education.

Essential Duties (Duties not limited to those provided here):

· Responsible for various daily reporting including but not limited to branch deposit, liquidity and cash flow forecasting, net interest income/expenses, and FIS H360 business analytics

· Monitor correspondent banking relationships and review/approve reconciliation of correspondent bank accounts to general ledger.

· Oversee TCD investment portfolio and supervise the processing activities of the TCD investment portfolio.

· Supervise wire functions, branch settlement, suspense accounts, accrual accounts, and other monthly certifications.

· Preparation of reports for monthly board meetings, such as Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings and preparing meeting minutes.

· Prepare and file FFIEC Call Report and any other required regulatory reports.

· Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

· Assist in the preparation for audits or regulatory examinations.

· Preparation of reports for Securities Investment and Transactions.

· Responsible for month end book closing, including ROU lease and securities entries.

· Supervise and oversee Account Payable and Account Receivable.

· Monitor for Accrue Tax payable and other Tax related assignments.

· Post monthly corresponding bank interest /fees/charges transaction and security P & I.

· Oversee year-end accounts payable tax document process.

· Prepare various ad-hoc financial analysis.

· Assist Controller in assignments and special projects including accounting research.

· Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Department Head.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field required, Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred

· At least 5 years of experience working in the accounting department of a financial institution

· CPA license preferred but not required

· Candidate must be detail oriented and technologically fluent, experience with FIS is a plus

· Fluency in Mandarin preferred but not required
