ESG Operations, an Inframark Company, is currently hiring an Accounting Specialist to work at our location near Lake Sinclair/Milledgeville, GA. As part of our corporate team that partners with Eatonton/Putnam County, you would be responsible for making sure all transactions are entered and coded, purchase orders are created and tracked, Accounts Payable (AP) are audited and processed for payment and Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices are prepared and accurate.

We are looking for candidates with accounting skills that are flexible enough to report as a member of our accounting team and do whatever task is the priority any given day. We use MS Office products and QuickBooks, and the ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of both or similar software.

You would:

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of data
• Create reports and maintain appropriate support documentation.
• Ensure proper distribution of daily, monthly, and quarterly reports in a timely manner and that all accounting reports are properly filed.
• Create POs, compare POs to Invoices and enter into AP system for payment processing.
• Ensure that all AR supporting documentation is accurate.
• Perform Month Closing and Journal Entries in QuickBooks
• Perform all activities in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience with GAAP accounting helpful.
• Advanced computer skills, with a focus on accounting. QuickBooks and Microsoft experience required; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivate to achieve team and personal goals.
