Job Summary:
As our Accounts Payable & Expense Coordinator, you will be part of North America Center of Excellence (COE) reporting to the Director, Global Accounts Payable and Travel, coordinate the global expense reimbursement process and support our outsourced (Genpact) accounts payable team working in the Global Business Services (“GBS”) center in Bucharest, Romania that provides accounts payable and travel and expense transaction processing services to FLIR’s North America region.
The role has primary responsibility for ensuring seamless operation of the global expense reimbursement process including coordination of key project to bring expense reimbursement in-house to Accounts Payable. This role will also be the primary corporate credit card programs administrator. In addition, the AP & Expense Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a strong internal control environment over processes under their responsibility. You will work closely with North America COE and Concur administrators to execute transaction processing with excellence, while implementing process standardization and tools and technology to drive productivity and efficiency.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage global expense reimbursement process to ensure employees and credit card issuers are reimbursement promptly and accurately.
- Under direction of Director, project management of bringing expense reimbursement in-house under Accounts Payable process. And subsequent management of ensuring seamless reimbursement process.
- Administer both corporate travel credit card and pcard programs
- Support North America COE in Accounts Payable escalations and working with GBS center to resolve issues timely
- Ensure process documentation, including SOPs, is properly maintained. Liaise with and support Internal and External Audit teams, ensuring required audit schedules and analyses are provided timely.
Job Qualifications:
- This position ideally requires a relevant university degree although this is not an essential subject to experience gained in an operating, and ideally shared services, environment.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office and experience with Concur Expense is a must and SAP is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in both accounts payable and T&E processing required, ideally in a Shared Services environment.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at multiple locations.
- Knowledge and experience in SOX is an advantage.
- Good understanding and appreciation for automation and the use of technology as an enabler of high-quality services and performance levels.
