Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description:

• Post account payable invoices to G/L. Verify purchase orders, amounts and account numbers.
• Keep vendor files organized and accessible
• Review statements look for missing, duplicate or missed posted invoices.
• Obtain approval for any questionable expenses.
• Reconcile and pay all previous month Vendor accounts by their due dates.
• Maintain and request W-9’s as paying invoices.
• Assist in processing and submitting 1099’s annually
• Daily processing of Factory invoices
• Follow up with unclaimed property checks
• Process check requests as needed
• Monthly turn in of sublet and AP schedule with update notes
• Maintain an “eye” for expense control

Qualifications:

• Highly organized
• Excellent communication skill – both written and oral
• Time Management – prioritizing workload
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
• Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus
• Dealership experience preferred
• Available to work Monday - Friday in an office setting
• Must be 18 or older
