As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for invoice processing, journal entries and reconciliations, and process improvements. You will have the chance to play a hands-on and integral part on the AP team, and serve as a key contributor to a high growth environment.
Pay rate: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Location: Bryn Mawr, PA
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close by performing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Process high volume invoices ensuring proper GL coding and approval.
- Identify, analyze, and communicate discrepancies
- Process Return to Vendor and Vendor Chargeback debit memos
- Reconcile vendor and factor statements timely
- Work with AP leadership team to resolve transactions, monitor and resolve aged invoices and support the team in various day to day activities and tasks
- Identify process opportunities for process improvements and draft simple desktop procedures
Requirements
- You have 2+ years of high-volume Accounts Payable experience utilizing a large ERP system
- You are an experienced AP professional with 3-way match experience
- You have superior attention to detail, are inquisitive, analytical and have strong communication skills.
- You're also a self-starter, system savvy and a team player with a desire for career growth in accounts payable or general ledger accounting.
- You look for ways to improve the accounts payable process and its efficiency.
- You are a process-oriented individual who is flexible enough to thrive in a startup setting.
- You love getting 'hands on', have a strong work ethic, while also seeing the big picture.
- You have the ability to adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment.
