Accounts Payable Specialist Job at The Neil Jones Food Company
Summary: Assists in the maintenance of the company’s accounts payable information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes accounts payable information, including maintenance of vendor accounts, processing of invoicing, and reviews for compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reviews, codes and verifies transactions.
- Posts accounting information to appropriate accounts.
- Prepares statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business management, or related field; or, any equivalent combination of training, education and experience and that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- 3-5 years of related accounts payable experience.
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, credit screen, and may work extended schedule during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October.
