BrightStar Senior Living is a small, assisted living and memory care community located in Madison on the Westside and in Waunakee we are looking for an experienced Activities Assistant . Our BrightStar Senior Living community offers support to older adults with physical and cognitive limitations.
Position Requirements
- Assistant assists in providing enriching, stimulating and/or therapeutic activities and programs for residents.
- Helps transport residents to and from activities; encourages resident engagement in activities; assists and guides residents through the duration of activities.
- 1+ year experience in a similar role, preferably from within a Long-Term Care, Assisted Living and/or Memory Care community
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to physically push a resident in their wheelchair distances of 50 feet or more on a regular basis
