The Tabor School of Business is seeking an Adjunct Graduate Professor to teach Business Strategy in our MBA program beginning January 2023. This 3-credit course is delivered once per week for eight consecutive weeks. This course is delivered in-person on campus.
The course description states:
MB590. Business Strategy. Raising capital, planning growth, targeting/assessing acquisitions, setting quality levels, and a host of other business policy choices affect the ultimate success of a business. This course seeks to tie together decisions and consequences through case studies and/or simulations.
Our MBA program consists of two cohorts; an Evening cohort comprised of mainly full-time employees with classes offered in the evening, and our Daytime cohort comprised of mainly recent graduates with classes offered in the daytime. Our programs have three major threads of inquiry: a sequence in accounting and finance focusing on decision making, a sequence in management and leadership focusing on people, and a sequence on marketing, strategy and planning focusing on integrating business knowledge. Together these courses should develop holistic views of business situations and decisions from an executive line of sight.
The MBA faculty is a team of academically and professionally qualified people with deep experiences that bring business into the classroom. We are driven by the mission of our institution of bringing together theory and practice. Faculty have the freedom to be creative in delivery and content as it fits into the practical focus of our program.
A terminal degree with work experience and previous teaching experience is preferred.
