If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity. About the position:
This position will report to the North Carolina Correction Enterprises - Tabor Sewing in Columbus County. This position’s responsibility is to ensure that uniform accounting procedures to control billings of delivery tickets from outside vendors are accurate and complete in accordance with DPS Fiscal Policy and Procedure Manual. This position must complete a delivery ticket for outside agencies weekly and sent to Enterprise Accounting for billing. This position is also responsible for: preparing requisitions through the e-procurement system, and the NC Financial Systems NCFS/NCAS, maintenance of raw material and finished goods inventories, accounting of offender incentive wages, processing written correspondence, completion of CNTR005 Direct Processing Forms and Expense Reports. This position will order and receive merchandise as directed by the DAC Procurement Policies and Procedures Guide. This position will be responsible for maintaining a file on all offenders with records pertaining to training and safety policies and procedures. Must maintain established files associated with assigned jobs. This position is responsible for creating orientation files for all new offenders and preparing safety training orientation for all offenders transferred to a different work location within the facility. This position is responsible for the uniform accounting procedures to ensure that accurate incentive wage guidelines are complete as outlined by the DAC Fiscal Policy and Procedure. This position will be responsible for entering offender's hours worked into the OPUS system. This position must maintain all supporting documents pertaining to this wage plan. This position will track offender job classifications and enter pay changes into the OPUS system. This position will compose routine memorandums referencing fiscal reports and activities as well as letters to outside vendors as required. This position will also be in contact with DAC agencies regarding delivery schedules and shortages. This position has contact with DAC Purchasing, Personnel, Enterprise Administrative Office, and with vendors concerning purchase orders and invoices. It is vital that this position possesses good communication skills for the unit to maintain a good working relationship with its clients. This position receives date stamped mail from both internal and external sources and vendor invoices. Outgoing mail related to this position is copied for filing and copies sent to the appropriate person/department. Incoming correspondence is filed by subject: outgoing correspondence is logged and maintained for information retrieval.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience;

Pay: $35,788.00 - $62,628.00 per year
