Position Description

Advertised Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for day-to-day operations for the University Advising Center’s front desk, overseeing high-traffic, high volume and highly transactional office operations. Management of the front desk includes, but is not limited to, greeting visitors, answering phones, and maintaining call logs, familiarity with basic UAC policies, scheduling student advising appointments, handling the student sign-in process, office supply management, meeting room reservations, and common area management. The Administrative Assistant provides support to students, visitors and others seeking to connect with an academic advisor. Support may require responding to questions about the location of campus resources or event dates.

Qualifications
Requires at least a high school education and 2 years of clerical experience. Experience with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and basic typing and word processing skills are required.
