Job Description:
The Admissions Application Coordinator I processes health profession student applications; provides day-to-day clerical/administrative support to the department; assist with the execution of various events; and help to promote the University as a viable educational institution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of student applications for admittance with KCU
  • Accurately maintains current records while maintaining confidentiality
  • Coordinates and disseminates a variety of communication
  • Support Admissions Office on and off campus events
  • Assist with general office support including customer service
  • Aid in immunization and background check processes
  • Represent department and the University favorably and in accordance with established Core Values and expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization
  • Works under general supervision
Qualifications:
  • Two years of college required
  • Two years’ clerical and data entry experience required
  • One year customer service experience required
  • Experience in a college admissions office preferred
  • Must have experience answering the phone in a professional environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and a self-starter
  • Ability to be flexible and able to shift priorities as demands change
  • Able to work in a team environment and interact closely with team members
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a strong working knowledge of databases
