Position Summary: The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for identifying eligible candidates for admission to Seaside, Harbourway and Marina Bay. Position requires dynamic individual with strong communication skills to market our facility services, in order to maintain census by establishing and maintaining open, effective communication between the facility and referral sources, hospitals, physicians and third-party payers. Complies with all federal, state and local regulations including corporate compliance and HIPAA Privacy Standards.
Education and/or Experience:
- A minimum of 1-year experience in the health care, long-term, assisted living industry preferred
- Able to work flexible hours
- Must have good working knowledge of Medicare Part A and medical terminology
- Works well with diverse teams
- Possesses:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Public relations experience
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
