Admissions Counselor Job at York College of Pennsylvania
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for contributing to the overall recruitment efforts of the College and planning and implementing procedures and programs for attracting and matriculating a diverse and talented new-student class. The Counselor travels at least four-to-six weeks in the fall term and spring travel as determined by the Senior Associate.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree is required. Direct admission experience is preferable. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a higher education environment and/or the secondary counseling level; familiarity with selective liberal arts colleges and non-profit organizations; exemplary oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational and analytical skills; ability to work independently and with a team as well as with various constituencies; must be able to travel, evening and weekend hours, and a valid driver's license are required. Requires excellent functional skills including knowledge of and facility with a variety of desktop computer programs. Knowledge of or experience with Slate is preferred.
