Admissions Director Job at Skilled Long Term Care Facility
Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for an Admissions Director to join our team. The Admissions Director is responsible for coordinating all admissions and transfers to our Skilled Nursing Facility. They are also responsible for marketing facility services in the immediate and surrounding referral communities.
Admissions Director Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete admission of a new resident
- Manage inquiry process.
- Conduct facility tours as necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of admissions process and Medicare/Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care and other payer types.
- Reviewing and processing placement applications.
- Makes regular marketing contacts with referral sources.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Admissions Director Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Admission Director.
- Prior experience in a Long-Term Care setting is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively
