Richard Bland College (RBC) is a two-year, residential, liberal arts transfer institution that focuses on preparing students for transfer to highly-ranked colleges and universities. The College is a hidden gem located outside the Tri-Cities region—and its rural setting featuring 750+ acres of wetlands, bucolic forest, and the state’s oldest and largest pecan grove.
Richard Bland College Admissions Office is seeking a part-time Marketing Specialist. Under the supervision of the Chief Enrollment Officer this position will be responsible for planning and organizing activities to generate leads for the recruitment of prospective students. Provides pre-admissions advisement to prospective students and assist with clarifying their career pathway and selecting a program of study Document partner and student activities/engagements through CRM. Develop inquiry pool in assigned region Submits accurate and timely reports Coordinates partnership efforts with school administrators, counselors and non-profit college prep organizations to promote programs and enrollment. Makes presentations to high school students, parents, counselors and any other individuals and/or organizations for the purposes of recruitment.
Participates in off-campus recruitment events locally and state-wide for the purposes of recruiting high school students Meet with potential students to accurately explain program offerings; discuss and advise suitable programs in accordance with the student’s interests, qualifications, and career goals Assists with the planning process and facilitates college activities, such as on campus recruitment events, orientation, and registration activities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong track record of reaching goals
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic
- Associates Degree
- Experience required in computer applications (database management and word-processing) and basic record keeping.
- Experience working offsite recruitment and higher education
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working offsite recruitment and higher education Experience with Salesforce.
- Enthusiastic and ambitious with a track record of high achievement.
