Adult Community Treatment Technician-Marathon County Job at North Central Health Care

Pay range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Purpose of the Position

This position provides support and rehabilitation services in the community to adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Services will be provided are provided through both the Community Treatment program and in the community.

Required:

  • Less than one year experience working with the mentally ill.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by North Central Health Care.
  • Must have the use of a personal insured vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides ongoing support services to consumers to promote independence and recovery within the community.
  • Provide direct psychosocial rehabilitation services to include communication and interpersonal skills training, medication management, physical health, psych education, recovery education/illness management and individually tailored psychosocial rehabilitative service as outlined in the consumer’s recovery plan.
  • Activities of daily living services to include skill training support and supervision to assist consumer in gaining skills in grooming and hygiene, housekeeping, cooking, grocery shopping, and laundry completion.
  • Support and supervision to access medical/dental services.
  • Monitoring of medication adherence under the direction of Community Treatment registered nurse, program psychiatrist, program director and clinical coordinator.
  • Symptom management and assessment.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, consumers, and community partners.
  • Participate in the Quality Improvement goals of the program and agency.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other work related tasks as required as assigned
