A Technical Project Manager job is currently available at Belcan. As an integral member of the team, you will use standard industry practices to manage and drive product and process transitions from design release to source delivery. Facilitate communications between design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment, adaptability, persistence, ingenuity, and consistent engagement with team members.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with spaceflight hardware design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain.
- Utilize engineering, procurement, and supplier schedules for timely hardware deliverables.
- Create program management weekly status reports for senior leadership.
- Conduct meetings with various multi-disciplinary design and production teams.
- Supply-chain management for tracking procurements and purchase orders.
- Transition products from NPI phase to production and lead sustaining hardware lifecycle.
- Address root cause and corrective action for non-conforming materials and components.
Requirements:
- Minimum of BS/MSME, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, or equivalent field.
- 5+ years experience in hardware development and project management.
- Experience running sophisticated datasets, inventory spreadsheets, and Tableau dashboards.
- Very strong, advanced digital technical proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project.
- Self-starter, strong leadership, and management skills in technical work environments.
- Experience with manufacturing and tooling, large-scale (30 ton+) assembly production lines.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
