Job Title: Ancillary Revenue Manager

Reports to: Director of Revenue
Responsible for executing and supporting the ancillary revenue optimization strategy under the guidance of the Director of Revenue. Deploys revenue strategies, and rates, availability, inventory, and restriction updates in various distribution channels for all ancillary products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deploys revenue strategies managing rates, availability, inventory, and restriction updates in various distribution channels. Provide strategy recommendations to optimize total ancillary revenues and meet budgeted goals. Monitor specific strategy production and provide ongoing recommendations to optimize total.
- Completes or assists in the required revenue management processes, such as forecasting, preparing revenue meeting documents and the annual budget planning process. Ensure the department operates with a sales attitude and all personnel are aware of all sales opportunities.
- As needed, respond timely to internal and external inquiries for ancillary products, rates and resort information. Attend required meetings. Support Revenue Department with special projects.

- Owns ancillary product development and deployment on all distribution channels.
- Proactive in troubleshooting any rate load and channel connect issues.
- Owns troubleshooting reservation connectivity issues and testing new releases.
- Assists with the optimization and maintenance of property content and images across all distribution channels - CRS, GDS, OTAs and BE.
- Assists with creation of SOPs to ensure consistency in procedures and efficiencies as it relates to training/on-boarding and coverage.
- Assists with creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and month-end channel reporting to measure overall effectiveness.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned from leadership.
Must have Qualifications:
- The desired candidate will have a minimum of 2 years-experience in Revenue Generating and Guest Service role along with operations within a brand or independent resort or other similar industries with a focus on revenue generation with a proven record of success.
- S/he will have excellent knowledge – and at the forefront – regarding all facets of related technology (Property Management Systems, Liaison Interfaces, Sales & Catering, Duetto or other RMS experience, Contact Center, Global Distribution Systems, Sabre/SynXis/CRS, Inntopia, Siriusware, distribution software for aggregated channel management, web booking engines, etc.) and will possess a blend of both operational and sales expertise.
- A self-starter with fresh eyes and an insatiable appetite for information will be key to success.
- Must be innovative yet analytical; a thoughtful communicator who comes from purpose and is undaunted by challenges or stressful situations.
- The candidate will have a high degree and a genuine commitment to integrity.
