Anti-Human Trafficking Assistant (DHQ) Job at The Salvation Army Eastern Territory
Overview:
Assist Social Justice Representative in all aspects of the Anti - Human Trafficking Ministry as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, Facilitate and Fully Participate in P.E.A.R.L. Essence Monthly Street/Illicit Massage Parlor Outreach Events
- Recruit and Train P.E.A.R.L. Essence Volunteers
- Serve as main liaison for the FBI/Markle Emergency Housing Program, facilitating communications between the FBI, NYPD, Markle Residence and Survivors/Guests.
- Compile data, keeping data base up to date and taking Minutes of weekly Department Check-Ins
- Collaborate with external AHT programs and service providers while directing survivors to resources.
- Represent the Social Justice Representative in External Taskforce Meetings as assigned
- Oher duties as assigned by the Social Justice Representative
- High School Diploma or greater
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, data entry and excel
- Previous experience in human trafficking field a plus
- Coordinate and lead outreach
- Ability to recruit, train and lead volunteers
- Valid driver’s license
- Flexible schedule
