Summary

Application data steward I has accountability for the customer data specific to the application they live in. This role requires focus on the CMA exhibitor customer list onboarding, processing, research, plus implementation of data best practices/tips, data exceptions, strategy and reporting. Making sure that enterprise data policies and data standards are adhered to on a daily basis. Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous data issues and follows established CMA data stewardship process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data entry, maintenance and accuracy, focusing on data quality and integrity
  • Analyzes source documents containing customer information (exhibitor list) to be entered into Profisee, CMA and TSS
  • Identifies and interprets data to be entered, resolving deficiencies and discrepancies through critical thinking
  • Communicates with business partners regarding exhibitor list data issues to help reach resolution and establish expectations with clients
  • Processes exhibitor lists requested from growth through Profisee & CMA and meets service level goals

Education & Experience

  • 0-2 years of experience in the data application steward role or equivalent data processing role
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures that apply in routine situations relating to exhibitor lists required
  • Critical thinking skills required: Ability to solve varying problems, requiring analysis and interpretation with strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly review information in a fast paced work environment
  • Professional communication skills verbally and in writing required. Excellent customer service skills over the phone and via email with internal and external customers required
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Ability to create route reports and perform routine calculations such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, etc.
  • Result oriented, diligent, and works with the sense of urgency
  • Influential, versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
