Nelson Electric is looking to add Electrician Helpers and Electrician Apprentices in our Carroll office to work on various projects in Western Iowa. Job Duties

• Installation, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems including layout, rough-in, and trim of lighting, power, and low voltage systems
• Commitment to all safety procedures
• Complete all paperwork in a timely, neat and organized manner
• Keeps worksite, vehicles and tools clean and completes maintenance as needed
• Adherence to the National Electrical Code and any local amendments

Education/Licensing/Experience

• A high school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Prior electrical experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, crawl, bend or kneel for long periods of time
• Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs overhead
• Ability to routinely lift 100 lbs to waist height
• Ability to work at elevated heights
• Ability to wear all PPE required
• Ability to work in all-weather temperatures/climates
