About the Role
The Aquatics Lead Facility Maintenance Technician is a critical role in our attractions as they ensure all the fun and magic is being delivered at an efficient level. Every day, the Technician assists with the planned and reactive maintenance throughout the attraction to ensure the day-to-day operation is running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Reporting to Senior Dept. staff, you will be trained to operate and maintain the primary life support systems of the 1.2 million gallon attraction. This includes sand filters, pumps, ozone, UV, air cooled chillers, electric boilers, fluid coolers, associated automated controls and monitoring along with dechlorinated and salt water systems.

Additional responsibilities include minor electrical, lighting repairs & emergency power systems, fire alarm system, plumbing, ventilation, cosmetic repairs, monthly safety checklists and testing.

Compensation for this opportunity starts at $22 per hour.

About You

• 2+ years of technical college and/or related experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities that are essential for this role. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Experience in maintaining flexibility and service in a public attraction environment.
• Must be available from time to time for emergency situations outside of the normal weekday schedule.
• Technicians are occasionally exposed to a loud work environment, PVC glue, and primer.
