HELM Design Group, LLC is a small architect firm in League City Texas. We are looking for a new team member to assist our staff in creating beautiful unique buildings and spaces to meet the design goals of the clients who employ our firm. We want to see you grow in your skill set and become an integral part of our design team. The candidate must have extensive commercial architecture experience.

Helm Design Group is looking for your skill set to include the following.

• Excellent Revit/BIM skills- Skill test will be required
• Develop and prepare construction documents, plans, and details; execute red-marked revisions
• Evaluate and integrate engineering systems and implement code, accessibility, and zoning analyses: preferred.
• Collaborate with staff
• Manage and execute design assignments independently and in a timely manner
• Ability to review shop drawing and submittals
• Organize and manage permit documents

Requirements

To join us, you should have:

• A professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline is preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of experience in detailing pre-engineered metal buildings and Class A steel structures in Revit
• 5+ years of commercial architecture experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit required.
• Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
• Collaborative and professional work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Application Question(s):

• 5 Years of Commercial Architecture Experience with ability to put together a full set of drawings, including detailing sections. Experience in all aspects of detailing PEMB and Class A steel- Tilt wall a plus. We are not looking for interiors or residential experience, but it would be a bonus if all other design skills are existing.
