Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Our Area Field Managers are the leaders on the front linein the creation of an on-site exceptional customer experience. These team members are responsible for customer care through on-site visits with Quality Checks, No Install Verifications, installations, maintenance and repair, internal team member support throughout the company, as well as manage day to day activities of Lead Field Technicians and Field Technicians in the area assigned. Successful Area Field Managers will have the desire to ensure our customers are connected to the world through technology. SCOPE:

  • Lead, Manage and Hold Team Accountable.
  • Work alongside of dispatch to achieve company promise of 24/48.
  • Work with fellow managers to create and maintain goals.
  • Train and mentor Lead Field Technicians and Field Technicians to be able to achieve key KPI’s.
  • Perform Quality Checks on work completed by employees for an exceptional customer experience.
  • Work with the entire field team to achieve area and company goals.
  • Expect to spend a significant portion of their time outdoors on rooftops, in extreme weather conditions and possibly long hours.

  • Extensive documentation which requires excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Problem solving autonomously and with direction from General Manager, Dispatch, Network Operations, Tech Support and Billing.

Ensures work plans are executed and goals are achieved. Holds direct reports accountable through established performance management processes. Actively develop and coach people, makes hiring and compensation decisions. Exercises considerable independent judgment and creatively in determining how to achieve results within defined procedures and policies.

Required Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • Efficient experience using operating systems (i.e., Microsoft office, internet browser, etc.)

  • Meeting KPI’s
  • Clearly Driven
  • Ability to lead and train Lead Field Technicians in an efficient and thorough manner.
  • Ability to communicate properly with Field Operations Director, Lead Field Technicians and Field Technicians.
  • Ability to listen to and follow directions, processes, and policies.
  • Able to utilize a wide range of company tools and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bi-Lingual

Special Position Requirements:

  • Comfortable with heights.
  • The job requires getting on and off rooftops using ladders and occasional climbing of towers, grain silos and other structures.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Willing to work long hours during peak season.
  • Ability to work some weekends.
  • Ability to work some holidays.
  • Willing to work some overtime if requested.
  • Willing to travel and work in other networks for up to 4 nights (overnight)
  • Clean driving record.
  • No criminal history.
  • A great personality and professional appearance.
  • Good communication skills.
  • You will be working with customers at their homes.
