The Area Operations Manager plans, directs and leads all phases of a successful service operation in an Area.
AREA OPERATIONS MANAGER MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops organizational charts and relationships throughout the client company to identify and capture additional business opportunities.
- Responsible for continuous development of existing accounts. Establishes rapport with client contacts and identifies opportunities for further growth within existing accounts.
- Provides adequate oversight, training and leadership to ensure members of service team reach potential. Designs and implement a team-results oriented culture within service team, reinforcing collective results over individual results.
- Audits and monitors the activities of the staff in filling and servicing client orders to ensure optimum service levels. Develops tools for team members to track their metrics and monitor progress on goals.
- Partners with Business Development Managers to develop and present service plans to prospects in an effort to close new business and implement new programs; completes corporate and Avionte set-up tasks for new accounts.
- Participates in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition.
- Partners with the Marketing Department to drive name and brand recognition for Doherty in the Area in a collaborative, creative and cost-effective manner.
- Conducts performance evaluations and prepare professional development plans for staff in a timely manner.
- Monitors and communicates temporary employee legal issues, including illegal harassments, suspensions and non-business like conduct /behavior at client locations to DSS Headquarters.
AREA OPERATIONS MANAGER KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Staffing industry experience in a high-volume environment
