Residential Provider- Area Supervisor in Washtenaw County Michigan. (This is a healthcare position similar to assisted living serving people with disabilities in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area)

Renaissance Community Homes, an established and well regarded provider of Specialized Licensed Adult Foster Care direct care services throughout Southeast Michigan, is seeking to hire an experienced Manager to supervise our licensed specialized residential small group home facilities and supported living sites in Washtenaw County MI. We assist people who receive services through the Community Mental Health system. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that offers those we serve with developmental disabilities and mental illness compassionate and quality care.

Some of the essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Supervision of assigned programs and their managers. Provide assistance and training to each program’s management and direct care personnel.
• Ensure adequate workforce through hiring and employee retention.
• Assure quality services through consulting, direction, monitoring and “hands on” leadership.
• When required, provide support and assistance to all persons served.
• Liaison to responsible Washtenaw County Community Mental Health agency with whom we have contracts.
• Arrange for and monitor employee training.
• Ensure compliance with emergency procedures at programs.
• Follow and monitor medication administration procedures.
• Follow and in-service individual plan of services for persons served.
• Rotate on-call coverage with other management team members.
• Complete all additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the District Manager.

Qualifications for this position include:

• High School Diploma/GED
• A valid driver’s license with a positive driving record
• Pass a criminal history check
• Prior experience in a management position in a 24 hour residential setting
• In depth knowledge of day to day operations in an AFC licensed home
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must be a compassionate and caring team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
