Job Summary

The Art Director is a visionary design leader that brings the brand to life through innovative multichannel experiences and compelling seasonal campaigns, which includes digital campaigns, a best-in-class website, catalogs and store visuals. Involves a strong collaboration with other department leaders such as: design, merchandising, retail, and visual merchandising; and provides effective leadership of the studio and graphic design teams. Responsible for conceiving and producing engaging creative solutions that appeal to consumer targets and support the marketing needs of the Company, all in a style that is reflective of the Company's brand identity.

Essential Functions

• Develops seasonal strategies and implements them through photographic and design direction for multichannel campaigns including web design, email, social media, consumer catalogs and direct marketing, and retail signage, as well as presentations, internal communications, company initiatives and more.
• Works collaboratively with creative, UX/UI designer and marketing to produce a cutting-edge website that supports seasonal campaigns, company initiatives and a seamless customer experience. Guides team through re-platform efforts and technological advancements.
• Elevates product and lifestyle photography and videography through testing and exploration of new techniques, styling and composition.
• Incorporates User Generated Content to create cohesive designs for web, digital advertising and print.
• Oversees photography and graphic design efforts, ensuring all assets align with brand and season concept standards.
• Voice of creative work. Prepares presentation of concepts, in-progress and final creative. Presents execution plans to internal team and cross-departmental stakeholders.
• Provides daily team leadership and guidance toward project completion and success. Partners with Director of Creative Operations on priorities and timelines.
• Identify resources, stylists, photographers, etc. appropriate for additional needs, with budget and timelines in mind. Lead all prop efforts in advance of photoshoot.
• Works independently and collaboratively to develop and produce conceptual solutions. Leads the collaboration and partnership with all key stakeholders and learns from others’ expertise. Makes necessary changes with a spirit of collaboration and cooperation.
• Successfully manages multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, Multimedia Communications, Photography or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, design and digital e-commerce.
• Prior leadership experience within a creative department.
• Advanced level design principles and strong online portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts, visual executions and frontend user experiences for digital devices.
• Proven understanding of typography, layout, color and grid structures.
• Skilled in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) as well as Microsoft Suite.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and diverse interpersonal skills.
• Awareness of industry progressions and trends and draws appropriate inspiration to create relevant campaigns.
• Periodic travel required to Cedar Park office, retail stores or shoot locations.
