One of the leaders in the medical device industry is looking for an Assembler to join their team in Rockland County.

The role of the Assembly Technician is to ensure the overall operations of the assembly equipment. The primary responsibilities are to operate assembly machines in the production of high-quality parts. Responsibilities include monitoring the quality of components and clearly communicating to the supervisory team any issues. This role validates product quality through SPC and visual, dimensional, and functional quality checks as well as ensuring proper packaging.

Qualifications/Education:

· High school diploma or GED Experience.

· One year of factory and/or machine operation experience preferred

Skills:

· Ability to handle multiple tasks.

· Good organizational skills.

· Perform at a high pace environment and be able to work well under pressure

· Must possess basic PC and math skills

· Must be able to read, write, and speak English

· Able to stand, walk, and bend during performance of expected duties.

· Must have good mobility and must be able to routinely lift loads of 25-65 lbs. from floor level to above waist; Based on site location, must be able to occasionally lift over 100 pounds with frequent bending and twisting

Available Shifts:

B SHIFT: Monday through Thursday Nights, 12-hour workdays, 48-hour workweek; alternating to

Monday through Wednesday Nights, 12-hour workdays, 36-hour workweek

C SHIFT: Friday through Sunday Mornings, 12-hour workdays, 36-hour workweek; alternating to

Thursday through Sunday Mornings, 12-hour workdays, 48-hour workweek

D SHIFT: Friday through Sunday Nights, 12-hour workdays, 36-hour workweek; alternating to

Thursday through Sunday Nights, 12-hour workdays, 48-hour workweek

Other Details

a) Breaks: Two, 20-minute paid Breaks each workday.

Start Times: Shift start times at either 5:30 AM or 6:00 AM for A/C Shifts and 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM for B/D Shift
