Asset Controller

As the Asset Controller in Civil Aerospace, you will be the primary interface between the project and service customer, ensuring that delivery commitments are understood, as well as ensuring that engine or system specific issues are escalated for resolution. You will be responsible for leading the management process on behalf of service customers, facilitating forecasts, asset control (new and serviceable), and delivery outputs. Within this exciting role you will provide superior customer support to customers via parts delivery, responsiveness, and total customer satisfaction. Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally up 5%

Key Accountabilities:
  • Continuously encourage improvements in delivery, reliability, promise dates, and inventory for customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for ownership and accountability for assigned customer data and information management
  • Work in SAP following all ERP principles
  • Evaluate customer demand inquiries, commit to customers and respond to customers related to material issues
  • Review schedule adherence to customer order board & service level requirements providing proactive communication of outward movement as required
  • Must be able be available on a rotational basis for on call support for airline customers, including after hours, weekends, holidays, and/or during all office closings when scheduled
Basic Requirements:
  • Associate degree with 3+ years of Customer Service, Customer Support, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Aerospace Industry experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of Customer Service, Customer Support, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Aerospace Industry experience, OR
  • Master's Degree in Communications, OR
  • JD/PhD in Communications, OR
  • 5+ years of Customer Service, Customer Support, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Aerospace Industry experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must be U.S. Citizen to be considered eligible for consideration
Preferred Requirements:
  • SAP Sales and distribution experience
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint features and functionalities
  • Prior experience working in a Customer Service/Customer Support Role
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Prior experience working with Airlines or in the Aerospace industry
