This 230+ bed nonprofit acute care facility has earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval and provides comprehensive services including state-of-the-art Surgical Services, Neurology, and Oncology care. The ACFO will join a medical team dedicated to providing the surrounding communities with high-quality patient care.
As a member of the Hospital’s Senior Management team and reporting director to the Chief Financial Officer, the ACFO will participate in the financial decision making processes of two hospitals and numerous healthcare services facilities. They will take charge in the CFO’s absence and will provide financial guidance to the hospital.
The ACFO will develop, implement, and evaluate new financial strategies, policies, and procedures aimed at improving operational performance for this community hospital and the satellite clinics that it controls. You will work next to a tenured Chief Financial Officer who’s an expert on deploying innovative and thoughtful operational methods, and together you’ll take the helm of this bold financial management department that has been nationally recognized for its superior financial performance. Having received meaningful use funding, this medical center, its home health department, emergency departments, and rural health clinics require a strategic financial thinker at the helm.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a Business related field with 2+ years of Director of Finance or Controller experience with a similar sized, for-profit healthcare organization. A CPA certification is preferred but not required. HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
