Bright Minds Academy at Bushland is searching for a motivated, friendly candidate that is well informed on child development and state licensing standards.
A successful assistant director is attentive, knowledgeable, efficient, and organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The applicant should have a sound working knowledge of business regulations, standards, and practices. The ideal applicant will be caring, patient and understanding. Applicant must be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when students encounter obstacles. Applicant must be able to: Demonstrate leadership abilities by creating and maintaining a positive learning environment amongst staff, students, and all enrolled families. The assistant director will work directly with the owner in operating the center in accordance to state licensing regulations as well as company policies to create and maintain an educational, safe, and welcoming environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or similar field preferred.
- 2 years' relevant experience, preferably in a licensed center.
- A good working knowledge of business regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Good organizational and management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
