Continuum is seeking an Assistant Director who is becoming an expert in health policy and the policymaking process with a background in government, advocacy, or association work. The ideal candidate will have a passion for equity, a strong work ethic, and a thoughtful approach to developing policy. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to apply their skills in policy development and analysis to high-impact client partners.

Experience In:

· Complex project management.

· Handling multiple competing priorities with the keen ability to be agile while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

· A working understanding of policy related to health equity, population health, and the social drivers of health.

· Working in associations or on grassroots programs/projects.

· Research and analysis, including writing and packaging information in a usable and understandable format.

Responsibilities:

· Track and analyze relevant federal and state activity related to population health and health equity.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with allied organizations in key public health areas (health disparities, health policy, community health, education, behavioral science).

· Play a key role in client teams through research, analysis and project management.

Required:

· Master’s degree in public health, health disparities or relevant discipline. Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for applicants with extensive experience demonstrating the qualifications described.

· Five (5) or more years of experience in public health, health policy or related field.

· Highly advanced communication skills, both written and oral.

· Demonstrated ability to produce results.

· Eager to make impactful change, proactive, enthusiastic and hardworking.

· Dedicated to health equity and community-driven public health innovation.

· This position is for an individual contributor who enjoys client services, is flexible, accommodating and above all has excellent people skills.
