Assistant directors, Head counselors and leaders needed for all sports Camp Job at Future stars
This is a great job if you love teaching, sports, kids, and spending your summer outdoors. Lead a group of 30+ boys and girls (ages 5-12) through a wide variety of sports, and traditional summer camp games such as dodge ball, relay races, tug of war, potato races, color wars, tournaments, focusing on developing hand eye coordination, movement, agility, reaction drills, foot work, and balance, so their main sport, Tennis can be improved on the field.
There will be qualified counselors helping and assisting you each day.
Emphasis on fun, sportsmanship, some instruction and footwork drills. You'll be expected to teach life skills such as respect, persistence, compassion, courtesy, selflessness and patience.
There are a number of young teachers as well as approx 20 college students and 10+ high school students employed at our facilities so this is also a great job for meeting new people and having a great time this summer.
Qualifications
MUST ARRANGE FOR YOUR OWN HOUSING.
Must be extremely responsible, athletic, passionate and knowledgeable about sports and fitness in general, & have played on at least one school or club team at the high school or college level. * Must love to be around boys and girls ages 5-12.
Experience : have worked with a youth sports team, after school sports program, or at any summer camp. *Tennis experience a plus
Job Type: Seasonal / Summer - 10 weeks preferable. Full time 40 hours a week
Monday to Friday 830am to 315 pm.
Salary: upon experience. Range between $600, $1000 weekly
