Assistant Golf Professional Job at Eagle Crest Resort
Works closely with the Head Golf Professional manager to run all facets of the Golf Shop, including the day to day responsibilities and procedures established in managing tee times, play, answering phones, opening and closing procedures, selling merchandise. Works closely with fellow employees by providing support, leading by example and promoting and nurturing customer relations to enhance the quality of the golf experience.
Experience Required
- PGA Membership is a plus but not required.
- Enrolled in the PGA PGM program is a plus, but not required.
- Golf and/or retail experience, sales & marketing, tournament operations a significant plus!
- Knowledge of Golf Operations
- Must have fundamental knowledge and familiarity for the game of golf and rules of golf
- A successful candidate must be motivated
- Ability to lead and supervise a team while demonstrating the behavior and work ethic expected of all employees
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Service and customer focused attitude
- Golf Genius Tournament software "experience" a plus
- Excellent written and oral buisness communications
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, Internet, etc.
- Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
- Energy and enthusiasm are a must have.

- Assists the Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional with management of all daily golf operations.
- Assists the Head Professional with tournament operations.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Golf and/or Head Golf Professional.
All duties of the position shall be performed with the commitment to the highest level of customer/guest service.
