Job Summary:

A typical day at Pressed On Main includes offering the ultimate guest experience while creating and serving organic cold pressed juices, superfood smoothies and smoothie bowls, gluten-free toasts, waffles and baked goods. Duties include preparing Pressed On Main menu items, prepping fresh fruits and vegetables, managing product freshness, improving facility cleanliness, and ensuring that every customer has an excellent experience. The Assistant Manager is a strong leader and works with leadership to ensure a positive and productive work environment, including coaching and training new employees. The Assistant Manager is responsible for following health, food and workplace safety guidelines and ensuring that the workstations are adequately stocked and sanitized throughout the day. The Assistant Manager sets a positive tone and is responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience. • A team player with exceptional attention to detail
• At least eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time (4+ hours)
• Able to reach, bend, and lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Experience as a Lead in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Availability to work a variety of weekday and weekend shifts - Wednesday to Sunday (or) Thursday to Monday
• Overseeing store operations when the Manager/Owner is absent
• Consistently provide guests with an exceptional customer service experience
• Preparing the store for open and/or close
• Perform store checklist tasks as needed throughout the day
• Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
• Help Manager and Owner fill in gaps and assists with last-minute absences
• Train and coach new employees with a team mentality
• Prepare nutritious and delicious food for our guests, including making smoothies, smoothie bowls, toasts and waffles
• Cleaning and restocking the workstation and ensuring all equipment is sanitized
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, dry goods, and items for food service
• Share your knowledge about the ingredients and benefits of items on our menu while helping guests decide what to order (paid training provided)
• Ability to clean and maintain store work areas, equipment, and customer access areas
• Ensure that the work environment stays safe, clean, and follows all policies and procedures for health, food and workplace safety
• Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
• Proficiently work the POS system, handle cash, and credit card transactions
• Arrives on time and ready to work with a positive attitude
• Ability to learn, take direction from leadership, and grow with the company
