We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and supervising staff. You will be the right-hand of the Store Manager and will need to be able to manage the store in their absence.

Responsibilities:

Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets by monitoring sales performance and developing strategies to increase sales.

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving and organizing incoming stock.

Supervise staff by training, scheduling, and motivating employees to achieve individual and store goals.

Assist with visual merchandising by maintaining store displays, signage, and promotional materials.

Ensure store policies and procedures are being followed by staff, and recommend improvements when necessary.

Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Assist with opening and closing the store, including cash management, balancing registers, and securing the store.

Maintain a clean and organized store environment by ensuring shelves and displays are neat and tidy.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements:

Previous retail experience, preferably in a management or supervisory role.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
