We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager that will be assisting our Project Management team in Chicago, IL. In this client facing role, you will be working with a Project Management team on a fast-paced, ground up project within the hospitality and gaming sectors. Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical and administrative support to project manager(s) and to the project team.
  • Coordinate and support the processing and approval of construction change documentation including Change Directives, Change Order, Contractor’s Change Requests, and other documents, as required.
  • Attend project meetings on-site, as required.
  • Coordinate with the other Department staff, and QA/QC Inspection Team.
  • Aid with the collection, review, status, and organization of project documentation, data deliverables, and closeout documents.
  • Assists in review of submittal procedures, RFI’s and monthly invoices.
  • Performs other duties as directed by Senior Managers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management. Will also consider non-technical bachelor’s degree with sufficient project management experience.
  • 3 to 5 years' of relevant experience in Construction Management, preferably on medium to large scale hospitality/gaming projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project.
  • AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations is a plus.
