In this client facing role, you will be working with a Project Management team on a fast-paced, ground up project within the hospitality and gaming sectors. We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager that will be assisting our Project Management team in Chicago, IL. - Provide technical and administrative support to project manager(s) and to the project team.
- Coordinate and support the processing and approval of construction change documentation including Change Directives, Change Order, Contractor’s Change Requests, and other documents, as required.
- Attend project meetings on-site, as required.
- Coordinate with the other Department staff, and QA/QC Inspection Team.
- Aid with the collection, review, status, and organization of project documentation, data deliverables, and closeout documents.
- Assists in review of submittal procedures, RFI’s and monthly invoices.
- Performs other duties as directed by Senior Managers.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management. Will also consider non-technical bachelor’s degree with sufficient project management experience.
- 3 to 5 years' of relevant experience in Construction Management, preferably on medium to large scale hospitality/gaming projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project.
- AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations is a plus.
