JOB TITLE: HHA | Home Health Aide
DEPARTMENT: Garden House | Assisted Living
HHA RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide assistance to clients according to their established Care Plan
- Administer medications to clients
- Assist clients with their activities of daily living and provide personal care services
- Ensure clients are engaged in a variety of activities throughout the day
ATTRIBUTES OF SUCCESSFUL HHAs:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A current and valid New York State Home Health Aide certification
- Medication Tech certified or willing to obtain upon hire
- Sensitivity and genuine empathy for the geriatric population
