SUMMARY
Assists Clinical Directors in directing all clinical and managerial aspects of the CCBHC and clinical programs. Provides on site supervision at multiple locations to ensure CCBHC requirements are met throughout the agency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for assisting the Clinical Director in planning and development of clinical programs and services within the CCBHC.
- Assess, review, evaluate and make recommendations regarding clinical programs and services regarding resource allocation and staff development.
- Responsible for on going knowledge of the course of treatment, needs, and special issues of program clients.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of written program goals and outcome criteria that guide and support the provision of recovery focused services.
- Responsible for identifying and addressing program needs of directors, coordinators, and clinical staff as it pertains to the programs they represent.
- Responsible for oversight of clinical programs developing program monitor and measurement goals and meeting those goals.
- Responsible for identifying staff training, consultations and education needs, and orientation of new staff in order to upgrade the skills needed to maintain quality program services. Assist Clinical Director in planning and developing staff development activities for all clinical staff.
- Assists Clinical Director in clinical oversight of programs to ensure quality care is being provided.
- Assists Clinical CCBHC Director in clinical oversight of CCBHC services and documentation requirements by the State and Federal government.
- Assists Clinical CCBHC Director with grant writing and special projects to obtain further funding from various sources.
- Assist Clinical Director to ensure safe operation of all clinical programs.
- Responsible for program/staff orientation and adherence to clinical services, agency policies and procedures, CARF and DMHSAS standards and criteria, CCBHC criteria, federal and state confidentiality rules and regulations, and any special funding source requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring staff meet agency performance standards, to include reporting and record keeping requirements.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with other agencies.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with all agency directors and program staff and developing integrated service provisions between various programs.
- Responsible for assisting Quality Assurance/Improvement in continued assessment and improvement of the quality of care and services provided.
- Responsible for maximizing Title XIX (Medicaid) and other sources of third-party reimbursement.
- Responsible for monitoring program performance and ensuring budget goals are met.
- Supports and promotes a service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives. Attends annual core competencies training in relationship to individuals with co-occurring disorders or who have experienced trauma in their lives.
- May be required to work evening and weekend hours.
- May be required to provide services in a community setting.
- May be required to provide client transportation by using personal vehicle or agency owned van or small bus.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and supervises program directors and coordinators as directed by the clinical director. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, orientation/training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in social work, psychology or related mental health field with three years experience in staff and/or program supervision and at least 2 years of licensed experience as a therapist.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current Oklahoma license for LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LADC is required.
Required to complete Therapeutic Options or approved safety training and annual updates
May be required to obtain and maintain first aid and/or CPR certification.
In order to transport clients in personal or agency vehicle, must possess current valid Oklahoma license and meet HOPE's insurance requirements. A copy of motor vehicle report must be proved to human resources office.
