General Summary:
Generalist attorney role, with an emphasis on supporting Campbell Snacks’ sales operations but subject to evolution over time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Chief Counsel and other members of legal team to provide legal support to Campbell Snacks Sales, including but not limited to:
- Interpretation and enforcement of distribution and other commercial agreements
- Commercial disputes involving distributors and other third-party vendors
- Commercial transactions, including the sale of distribution territories
- Other day to day business issues.
- With support from other legal team members as appropriate, lead or assist in drafting and negotiating various types of agreements, including distributor contracts, warehouse leases and partner brand agreements.
- Provide legal support for distribution-related matters implicating other business functions, including but not limited to Supply Chain, IT, and Finance.
- Conduct regular compliance training related to legal risks, ethics and regulatory issues.
- Support organization-wide legal projects and initiatives as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.
- A member in good standing of any state bar.
- At least five years of law firm and/or in-house counsel experience supporting operational functions and/or performing commercial transactional work.
- Litigation and dispute resolution experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with direct-store-delivery (DSD) and/or independent contractor business models is a plus.
- Employment law and food law knowledge are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be creative, exercise good judgment, and be a quick decision maker and self-starter.
- Demonstrated team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with business partners on a daily basis and operate with limited supervision.
- Desire to grow accountability and develop professionally.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$125,500.00 - $238,500.00
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
