Join our growing international division based straight out of Wendy’s headquarters! As Associate Creative Director, you will collaborate with Wendy’s international team and act as a hands-on creative lead to execute Wendy’s presence across the globe, as well as in the US. You will get the opportunity to develop designs across different platforms and mediums – including digital, branding, websites, in-store graphics, and more! Be a driving force to the creative growth of our client's international presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and execute designs for 360 international campaigns including email, web, video and more
- Create presentation decks with ideas and variations of concepts for client pitches
- Be hands-on in the creation of designs across platforms and mediums
- Lead in strategic thinking and brain storming sessions with client-side teams – act as consultant for client team
- Sets high creative standards while developing strategic and unique designs that translate to specific countries and regions
- Be accountable for development of creative work that is consistently sound, and of excellent caliber
- Communicate with clients to gather feedback, change requests and negotiate design direction
- Conceive and create experience in design solutions that meet client objectives
- Effectively communicate creative concepts and strategies
- Design comps, storyboards, initial graphic concepts, and final deliverables
- Brainstorm and develop campaigns while working with clients on multiple projects at once
- Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning and the broader creative team to develop disruptive and iconic work
- Assist with other creative duties as needed
7+ years of experience- Ability to concept and execute both traditional and digital designs
- Contemporary design style showing up-to-date design trends
- Ability to create, enforce and maintain style and brand guidelines
- Experience working at an international capacity, or with international brands
- Excellent presentation and client communication skills – ability to negotiate and eloquently provide design direction
- Proficiency in Adobe CC, as well as additional supplementary design tools like Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Ability to take feedback, collaborate and promote a collaborative, creative team environment
- Agency background – or background with national restaurant brands
- Excellent portfolio with 360 campaign work including web, email, video and more
- Solid knowledge of steps required in creative development process: provides guidance to achieve creative direction; gives timely and helpful coaching; and produces all work in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Ability to solve problems using keen instincts and organizational experience
- Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills
