The Associate Director, Information Technology (IT) will be responsible for driving and leading IT activities across multiple US sites and is responsible for onsite management of the Deerfield Information Technology team along with remote management of Bothell IT Lab Support Specialists. This role will define and direct various IT initiatives to ensure timely execution of both US and global IT initiatives. This role will act as a liaison between the US IT team and its Stakeholders across US sites to proactively identify process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience.
Essential Functions:

Responsible for development, communication and alignment of the US IT deliverables roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Partners with local stakeholders to assess organizational needs, providing thought leadership to recommend innovative technology solutions including updates to existing technology policies, procedures, and training.

Based on operational requirements, ensures operational coverage to support all home office and remote technology, hardware and applications for US employees.

In collaboration with global stakeholders, ensures global IT initiatives are executed within the US

Leads and directs the US IT and IT Lab Support team maximizing team productivity, cohesiveness and business impact.

Partner with global IT and support functions to ensure enforcement and adherence to policies and procedures; including disaster recovery and back up procedures in order to preserve assets

Responsible for the yearly budget planning process to support IT and key business activities.

Continuously analyze current policies, procedures, technologies, and training; developing and implementing process improvement initiatives. Responsible for the delivery of IT operations and services through managing vendor relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to internal compliance processes and delivery requirements.

Identify, evaluate and communicate operational trends and metrics that contribute to data driven decision-making across all levels of the organization.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

Accredited Bachelor’s degree
-
7+ years in a customer-facing IT position

Prior people-leadership experience
-
Proficient in Windows/Office 365 and Apple iOS

Experience gathering, analyzing, and presenting data

Customer-focused, team player with a collaborative mindset

Ability to translate complex technical concepts for various levels of stakeholders

Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience while working with others

Prior experience leading or supporting user-experience initiatives

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred

IT certifications (ITIL, CITM, etc.) an asset

Experience leading teams or projects

Prior experience working in a global matrix organization, preferred

Vendor management experience, an asset

This position will be based in the Deerfield location

Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.
